When Clarkson reviewed the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (Top Gear/Season 8 Episode 2) he actually liked the car despite his earlier misgivings.
It has a 7.0 L V8 that is the most powerful motor General Motors has ever made, producing over 500 bhp. Its bumpers are made of carbon fiber, the cradle the engine sits in is made of magnesium, and the whole space frame is made of aluminum. (whatever that is!)
The Stig took the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 around the test track in an astonishing 1.22.4.
